Tata Ultrose is one of some premium hatchbacks available in the Indian passenger vehicle market. Tata Motors are working on a facelifted repetition of ultraz, and have been slated to launch on 22 May. On launching, the Tata Altrose facelift will resume its competition with rivals such as Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Hyundai i20.
The Tata Motors teaser has been teasing the ultrose facelift for a long time through a barrage of the images, which has revealed the changes made inside the exterior as well as the cabin of the car. These images indicate that the Tata Ultrose is aiming to upmarket and appeal more than the outgoing version of the premium hatchback.
Maruti Suzuki Baleno, which currently leads the premium hatchback pack in India in terms of sales, can face the ultrose facelift launching in a few days. Interestingly, Maruti Suzuki Baleno is also slapped for a facelift which will be launched later this year. On the other hand, Hyundai i20, which is another popular car in the country, is unlikely to get an update soon.
With the launch of Tata Ultrose, it should be seen how Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Hyundai 20 reacted to the revived competition.
