Date:

Actress Nitanshi Goyal made headlines with her performance in Missing Ladies, for which she won the Best Debut Actress award at the Filmfare Awards in Ahmedabad. The actor had to experience a moment on the stairs when all eyes were on him, but he was dramatically saved by the king of romance Shah Rukh Khan, who was hosting the awards night.

Nitanshi Goyal won the best award for her performance in Missing Ladies.

Talking about Shah Rukh Khan catching her and stopping her from slipping on the stairs, Nitanshi tells us, “Going to the state to win an award for such a special performance was an important moment for me, but being able to experience the bravery of Shah Rukh Khan sir is a different experience and receiving the award from your idols like Shah Rukh sir, Akshay sir and Karan sir is very special for me and this moment will always hold a special place in my heart.

The actor jokes, “Girls all over the world only dream of such moments, but being caught by Shahrukh sir and saved from a bad fall is a memory I will always carry with me! And imagine him also chasing me when I was walking in the state. I don’t know how to describe that moment in words”

Many followers compared her slip to Hollywood actor Jennifer Lawrence’s moment on stage in 2013.

“Yes, I read the comments and honestly, the Internet can be a very interesting place. As actors we are used to wearing gowns that are too big and I think we understand Jennifer’s ‘kick walk’ instructions a little better now!”

Nitanshi is referring to an interview of Jennifer, where she had mentioned how her mind had forgotten her stylist’s instructions to “kick walk” to avoid any accidents and instead kept thinking about “cake walking”.
