Smile Train India announced “Smile Wall” to celebrate World Smile Day®

In collaboration with its fellow hospitals, supporters and donors, Smile Train invites communities across the country to share awareness for cleaned affected individuals and share the moments of happiness.

Delhi, India , October 06, 2025 – In honor of World Smile Day® on 3 October, Smile Train is launching nationwide smile walls in collaboration with India fellow hospitals, schools and corporate partners. This initiative is part of a global campaign led by Smile Train, to celebrate the world’s largest crop-centered organization, connection, positivity and smile power, while cleans rally support for children with lips and palate.

Starting from today and continues through the first week of October, smile walls will be set up at the Millennium City Center train station in hospitals, corporate partners, schools and public places such as Gurugram. These installations will be places where community members can post messages or pictures that reflect what they smile, transform the blank walls into vibrant demonstrations of positivity.

Every three minutes, a child is born with a cleft, a facial difference that can bring important challenges with eating, speaking, hearing and breathing. The walls of the smile symbolize that something simple as a smile can do more than to brighten someone’s day, it can represent a healthy, bright future promise for children with cleafet.

“We are excited to bring the walls of smiles all over India, World Smile Day, Mamta Carol, Senior Vice President of Smile Train and Regional Director for Asia.” This is a great opportunity for our communities to come together and share the moments of happiness through a simple act, while raising the awareness of the cleafets. ,

The smile wall was inaugurated at Sant Parmanand Hospital in Delhi, Miss Cosmo India 2025, Vipra Mehta, who joined Smile Train India and Hospital partners to celebrate smile power.

“I am honored to be a part of this initiative,” said VIPRA, Miss Cosmo India 2025. “A smile is the simplest expression of joy, yet this smile train bears the power to heal, connect and inspire India. We are making sure that children born with cleafets have a chance to live a healthy and happy life.” Vipra Mehta will represent India at the Miss Cosmo pageant in December 2025.

“Smile wall campaign is a movement on the importance of a smile,” said Smile train president and CEO Susanaah Shefer. “By sharing whatever gives us happiness, we celebrate the moments that unite us despite our differences and respect strength and ability that carries a smile for a cleaned-affected children.”

Smile Train India encourages communities across the country to visit and share the walls of smiles in partner hospitals that smiles them. Individuals and organizations can also start their smile walls at schools, workplaces, community centers and more. Join the online movement by contributing or contributing to digital smile wall.
