During the renovation rally with Uddhav Thackeray, Raj Thackeray issued a blunt instruction to his party workers a few days after his party, in a dispute to attack the owner of a restaurant for not speaking in Maharashtra Navneman Sena (MNS), Marathi. In a clearly blunt message to his party’s employees, Raj Thackeray said, “Hara, but don’t do it.”
Speaking in Marathi, Raj Thackeray said, “It should be a Gujarati or someone else should know Marathi here, but there is no need to beat people if they do not speak Marathi. Still, if someone plays something, you have to hit them under their earrings.”
“If you beat someone, don’t make a video of the incident. Let the person be beaten that he has been beaten up; you don’t have to tell everyone,” Raj Thackeray said.
The MNS chiefs were clearly addressing criticism, when his people slapped people, including road vendors when not speaking in Marathi, and scared the scared people.
Marathi ‘Slapgate’ case
The MNS chief’s comment comes a few days later when some people threw the owner of a food stall to wear the Maharashtra Navneman Sena (MNS) scarf, not to speak Marathi in the Bhagandar of Thane.
A video of the incident, which went viral quickly, showed that MNS supporters slapped the shop owner several times, as he was asked “which language is spoken in the state”. The reaction of the shop owner, who was talking in Hindi, said, “All languages,” who infected men who visited their shop to buy food, said PTI.
Aditya Thackeray’s comments about Marathi ‘Slapgate’
After the Marathi ‘Slapgate’ case, Aditya Thackeray claimed that the issue should not be seen as Marathi vs non-Marathi division.
Aaditya Thackeray clarified that this issue stems in a simple form from something, which does not allow someone to charge his phone.
‘Yes we are goons …’ Udhav Thackeray says
After Raj Thackeray’s ‘Marathi Pride’ claim at the rally in Mumbai, Udhav Thackeray’s speech echoed the same feelings.
Shiv Sena (UBT) chief also spoke in Marathi, which said:
“Yes, we are goons; If we want to become goons to get justice, we will do Gondagiri.”
Raj Thackeray’s Jib in Rajendra Fadnavis
At the much awaited Mumbai rally, MNS chief Raj Thackeray praised a sharp, irony, Jab-Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis. Raj claimed that Fadnavis succeeded in doing so, who could not even do Bal Thackeray of Shiv Sena.
Raj Thackeray claimed in a large -scale incident in Worli, “Uddhav and I are coming together after 20 years … Balasaheb Thackeray could not do so that Devendra managed to do Fadnavis.”
Uddhav Thackeray was partitioned with Raj Thackeray when Bal Thackeray was alive, as he liked son Udhav on the nephew Raj to hand over the reins of Shiv Sena.
Uddhav thekaray and raj thackeray
A lot of discussion was discussed by the BJP-led Maharashtra government against the background of ‘Marathi Pride’ to present Hindi as a third language in schools against the background of ‘Marathi Pride’-a decision that was later rolled back after acute backlash.
Initially announced as protest against the original move, Raj and Uddhav Thackeray’s rally in Mumbai was converted into a rollback celebration.
