There is a wave of mourning in the film and TV industry due to the demise of Satish Shah. He died at the age of 74 due to kidney failure. He was suffering from kidney related diseases for a long time. After Satish’s death, only his wife Madhu Shah is left in his family.

After studying from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, Satish Shah studied acting from the Film and Television Institute of India i.e. FTI. In the year 1970, he entered Bollywood with Lord Parshuram. However, after this he had to struggle for a long time.
It was amidst the struggle that Satish Shah met Madhu Shah. Both met at CIPTA Film Festival. As soon as Satish saw Madhu, he fell in love with her one-sidedly. He immediately proposed Madhu for marriage. But Madhu rejected his proposal.
Satish Shah was a little upset, but did not give up. He once again proposed Madhu for marriage. Madhu rejected Satish’s proposal this time too. Satish got frustrated again, but did not have courage
When Satish Shah proposed Madhu for the third time, she agreed. But there was a condition that they would have to first talk to their parents and take permission. Satish was a true lover. Without hesitation we went to meet Madhu’s parents.
Madhu’s parents also turned out to be stubborn, so Satish Shah got into trouble. Satish did not lose courage here too and with great difficulty convinced his parents and got permission for the marriage. After this permission, both of them got engaged in the same month.
Madhu and Satish Shah got married in 1972 after 8 months of engagement. Since then both remained together. Even when Satish was infected with Covid in the year 2020, his wife Madhu supported him. Both lived together for almost 50 years.
Not only his wife but also his close friends are shocked by Satish Shah’s demise. There is a wave of mourning in the film and TV industry. Many artists and filmmakers including Madhur Bhandarkar, Karan Johar and Farha Khan expressed grief over Satish’s demise.
