Sainik School adds 3 new schools for AISSEE 2026, registration ends on October 30

Admissions to both classes 6 and 9 of Sainik Schools will be done through AISSEE 2026, which is scheduled to be held in January next year.

Sainik School Society has announced the inclusion of three new schools for the All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2026. Candidates willing to apply can check the official notice on NTA website nta.ac.in.

The newly added schools are:

-Sri SPK Public Senior Secondary School, Tamil Nadu

– Vadem Nagar Higher Secondary School, Goa

— Yogeshwari Sainik School, Ambajogai, Maharashtra

Registration: AISSEE 2026 registration is ongoing and will close on October 30, 2025 with the last date for successful fee payment being October 31, 2025. An application correction window will be open from November 2 to 4, 2025.

Application Fee: The application fee for AISSEE has increased this year. General category candidates will have to pay Rs 850 (last year it was Rs 800), while ST and SC category candidates will have to pay Rs 700 (last year it was Rs 650).

Age Limit: The age limit for admission in Sainik Schools has also been fixed. For admission in class 6, the age of the child should be between 10 to 12 years as on 31 March 2026. Enrollment of girls will be taken in class 6 only. Girls will be given admission in class 9 only on the basis of available seats. For admission to this class, the age of the candidates should be between 13 to 15 years as on 31 March 2026.

Steps to apply

step 1 – To apply for AISSEE 2026, candidates and their parents need to fill the registration form available on the official website Exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE.

step 2 – Enter the required details including your name, date of birth, home address, contact details and a valid email address.

step 3 – Select the class for which you want to take admission – Class 6 or Class 9.

step 4 – Scan and upload the required documents (including photograph and signature) to complete the application form.

Step 5 – Now, pay the applicable fee through the given online payment options and confirm your application. Submit and download.

Through this examination to be held in January next year, admission will be given to both classes 6 and 9 of Sainik Schools.
