New Delhi. Many filmmakers have tried to bring the mythology of Ramayana on the big screen. Some succeeded, some failed. Now the discussion is of Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming film ‘Ramayanam’, which stars Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash in the lead roles. ‘Ramayanam’ is India’s most expensive film ever. Earlier it was being told that the budget of the film is about 800 crores. However, according to a recent report, the film is being made on a big budget of Rs 1600 crore.
According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, the makers of ‘Ramayanam’ have kept a budget of Rs 1600 crore for two parts directed by Nitesh Tiwari. The first installment will be made on a budget of Rs 900 crore, while the second installment will be made on a budget of Rs 700 crore.
Along with this, many reports are coming out about the fees of Star Cast. It is being told that Ranbir Kapoor is charging Rs 75 crore for this film. This means that he will earn Rs 150 crore from two installments of ‘Ramayanam’. However, there is no confirmation of these reports.
Sai Pallavi is playing the role of Mata Sita in the film. According to the report of Political.com, she is charging Rs 6 crore for this film. That is, she will earn a total of Rs 12 crore from both films.
Not Ranbir Kapoor but KGF star Yash is also charging the biggest fee for ‘Ramayanam’. He is playing the role of ‘Ravana’ in the film. According to ABP Live report, he is charging Rs 200 crore for both parts of the film. However, there is no confirmation of this. Now it is believed that he chose this character because he is getting more fees from Ram for the villain avatar.
Sunny Deol is also in an important role in the film. He will be seen as Lord ‘Hanuman’ in ‘Ramayanam’. Their fees have not been revealed. But he is feeling ‘honored’ by being a part of this film, which tells the story of Ram and Ravana.
The Ramayana also consists of Ravi Dubey, Kunal Kapoor, Lara Dutta and other artists. The first part of the film will be released in Diwali 2026. The second part will be released in Diwali 2027.
