‘It is very difficult to eat 20-30 eggs’
Prabhas promoted his 2019 film Saaho in an interview with Film Companion South on August 28, 2019, and also shared how he lost weight for his role in the action film after looking bulky for Baahubali 1 and 2.
When asked if he really ate 40 eggs every morning to build his impressive Baahubali body, as was reported in the media at the time, Prabhas said, “No, I can’t eat 40 eggs and all, but I had a lot of eggs. Maybe 20 a day. Because sometimes it is very hard to eat 20 eggs, 30 eggs, so we have to mix it with protein in the mixer, take it like juice – so that it doesn’t smell so bad.” If not – and boiled Eggs…you. Prabhas was on veg diet for several months to lose weight
When asked if he did something similar for Saaho, Prabhas shared, “No, Saaho is like that… wanted to be slim after Baahubali, we gained a lot of muscles. So, I went on a vegetarian diet for months to lose weight. Lose muscle and everything, only vegetarian, even vegetarian protein, so it helped in losing weight… (for Baahubali), because “The muscles we gained, we gained over months, years… so I want to lose all that.”
