In a small town in Uttar Pradesh, once a boy has once ridiculed three subjects by his teacher, today has emerged as an inspiration for millions of civil service candidates. At the age of 30, Pankaj Yadav, an electrical engineer by profession, approved the seven state civil service examinations, without all coaching, managing a full -time private job and family responsibilities.
The moment of humiliation in a classroom began that a life-changes turned into inspiration. Pankaj recalled the day when his teacher made fun of him in front of his classmates, saying, “If you ever score 60%, you can achieve anything in life.” The word, to evict him, became a turn.
Determined to prove his merit, Pankaj requested his father to focus on the study for some time from the family jaggery shop for some time. His father promised a cricket kit if he acquired 60%.
In the storroom burnt in the shop, where the floor was sticky with melted jaggery, Pankaj made his own study corner – a sack for a mat, a small table and tireless determination. When the results were declared, Pankaj not only scored 60%, but also topped his school, even with a private tutor.
That moment created a lifetime confidence in him, this perseverance can overcome any loss of background or situation.
Years later, Pankaj completed his engineering degree and secured a well -paid corporate job. He married and became a father, settling in a comfortable life. But at the age of 30, the spirit of incomplete began to focus on him. Inspired by civil service fever in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, Pankaj decided to take a dip in the preparation for the government examination.
Friends questioned his decision, “Why did he risk his career at the age of 30?”, But Pankaj was unknown. He balanced his demand job during the day, spent time with his son and family in the evening, and studied deeply at night.
His first UPSC effort ended in failure. Nevertheless, due to disappointment, Pankaj doubled his efforts. Without enrolling in coaching institutes or relying on mock tests, he disciplined himself, cut off from social media, and prepared his own strategy for success.
Their strong fruit was bored and over time, he approved seven states PC (Provincial Civil Services) examinations, a rare achievement was obtained through sheer determination and self-study.
Speaking to local media, Pankaj said, “If you have passion and purpose, neither age nor circumstances can stop you. Hard work, discipline, and focus are the only materials of success.”
Today, Pankaj’s journey is a bright example for those who believe that it is too late to chase their dreams. A working professional, a father, and a self-made achievement, he has proved that no ambition is beyond access if someone has the courage to resume.
