Joint Entrance Examination (G) Advanced 2025 Today, 18 May was held in two shifts, 9 am to 12 noon and 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
According to Ajay Sharma, National Educational Director, Engineering, Akash Educational Services Limited, the exam was moderately difficult.
“JEE Advanced 2025, was held on 18 May, was given moderate status in overall difficulty by the majority of students and experts. The exam was well structured, maintaining a good balance in subjects and subjects. In three main subjects, chemistry emerged as the easiest, the most difficult to challenge physics and mathematics, as the most difficult and mathematics.

JEE advanced 2025 subject-wise analysis
Physics
Sharma said that the Physics section was generally considered moderate to easier. Paper 1 was considered easier than paper 2. Most of the questions were numerical in nature, which requires ideological clarity and moderate calculation skills. Some questions in Paper 2 were a little longer and taking time.
chemistry
He said that chemistry was the easiest section of both letters. The questions were largely ideological and straight, which required only a few detailed calculations. The students appreciated the balanced coverage of biological, inorganic and physical chemistry.
Mathematics
He further stated that mathematics was the most difficult segment for most candidates. While Paper 1 was relatively managed, Paper 2 was quite more challenging, with many long and calculated problems. Time management was an important factor in this section.
Depending on the student response and expert analysis, mathematics was the most difficult, followed by physics and chemistry respectively.
