Suppose a 1.5-ton 5-star inverter AC consumes electricity at a rate of 1 kW per hour at 24 ° C. If you consider the temperature to be 25 ° C, then you will save 0.05 kW (50 watts) per hour. If the AC runs 8 hours daily and the electricity rate is Rs 8 per unit, then there will be saving daily for 3 to 5 rupees, which can go from 100 to 150 rupees a month.
