In a recent interview, Harshvardhan Rane revealed that his father’s love experiences influenced his attraction towards romantic roles.

Bollywood actor Harshvardhan Rane is garnering praise these days for his recently released film ‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’. The actor made his debut in the film industry with Sanam Teri Kasam, where he played the role of a romantic hero. In a recent interview with Filmfare, Harshvardhan revealed what attracts him towards romantic roles. Harshvardhan got recognition after Sanam Teri Kasam and now he is back with another romantic hero role. Talking about what draws him towards such roles. Harshvardhan said, “I saw my father with 5-6 partners at different times. I think I silently saw him yearning for love, soul connection and emotional bond. I remember as a child I would look at him and not allow him to be uncomfortable with me that I would internalize what he felt and what he dealt with.”

The actor also spoke about his experience of working with Sonam Bajwa in the film. He praised her honesty and emotional depth and described her as an artist with immense untapped potential. He said that Sonam is not only a successful commercial heroine but also a powerful actress who is able to command a scene even in silence.

Harshvardhan made his Bollywood debut in 2016 with Sanam Teri Kasam opposite Pakistani actor Mawra Hocane. Although the film initially did not perform well at the box office, it later gained immense popularity on social media. Upon re-release, it broke several box office records, and emerged as the highest-grossing re-release. 41 crores worldwide.

Directed by Milap Zaveri, the film also stars Sonam Bajwa in the lead role, along with Shaad Randhawa, Sachin Khedekar, Ananth Narayan Mahadevan and Rajesh Khera in lead roles. The film received mixed to positive reviews from critics and grossed Despite stiff competition from Thamma, it has earned Rs 16.75 crore at the domestic box office so far.

Harshavan will next be seen in it. Directed by Omung Kumar B, the film also stars Teen Khatib, Ipsita and television actor Kanvir Mehra in lead roles. The release date has not been announced yet.
