CA exam to be conducted from May 16-24 postponed, ICAI says mint amid India-Pakistan tension

After the tension between India and Pakistan increased, later after the violated ceasefire agreement, India’s Chartered Accountants Institute postponed CA Exam 2025 on Saturday In view of the security situation of the country.

ICAI also released a revised program ICAI Chartered Accountant LastICAI said that Intermediate and INTT-A (PQC) Examination, May 2025. The exam will now be held from 16 to 24 May.

Taking X, ICAI wrote, “Important announcement – The revised schedule of ICAI Chartered Accountants Last, Intermediate and ITT -AT (PQC) Examination, May 2025.”

ICAI also stated that the re-scheduled examinations will be held at the same examination centers and at the same time at 2-5 pm (IST) or 2-6 PM (IST). It states that the admit cards already issued will be valid for the re -scheduled dates.

Earlier, Chartered Accountants Foundation May -2025 exams were scheduled on 9th, 10th, 11th, 13th and 14 May. They are now scheduled on 16th, 18th, 20th, 22nd and 24 May.

The ICAI’s statement said, “Chartered Accountants Foundation May -2025 exam schedule will be held as per IE, 15th, 17th, 19th and 21 May 2025.”

“It can be emphasized that there will be no change in the examination schedule in any day of the examination to be declared a public holiday by the Central Government or any State Government / Local Holiday. Candidates are advised to note the above and keep in touch with the institute’s website, www.icai.org.” ICAI said.

Pakistan violates the ceasefire agreement

A few hours later, India and Pakistan agreed to stop the firing and agreed to the ceasefire, the explosions in Jammu city were heard and Projectal was seen in the sky. Gunshot and several explosions were also heard in Srinagar; Whereas Udampur was drowned in darkness after blackout for the third consecutive day.

Earlier in the day, India and Pakistan agreed to stop all firing and military operations on the land and in the air starting at 5 pm today, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri announced on Saturday.
