All India Management Association (AIMA) has opened applications for Management Aptitude Test (MAT) for December 2025 session. This entrance examination provides admission to MBA and PGDM programmes. Interested candidates can apply for MAT 2025 on the official website mat.aima.in.
MAT is a national level management entrance examination offered in two formats: a computer-based test (CBT) and a paper-based test (PBT). Candidates have the option to take both formats (PBT + CBT) and can use the higher score for their business school applications. The exam will be conducted in more than 60 cities across the country.

Application Fee for MAT 2025:
The fee is Rs 2,200 for one mode and Rs 3,800 for both modes (CBT + PBT).
AIMA MAT December 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Graduate candidates from any discipline can apply for MAT 2025. Final year undergraduate students are also eligible, as long as they have a working email ID and can upload digital copies of their photo and signature during registration.

AIMA MAT December 2025: Exam Pattern:
The exam will have 150 questions to be answered in 120 minutes (2 hours). The Paper-Based Test (PBT) will consist of five sections: Language Comprehension, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, and Economic and Business Environment. There will be 30 questions in each section. Candidates should note that there will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. The overall score will be based on all the five sections of MAT.
Candidates who meet the minimum cut-off marks can proceed to the next stage. The selection process involves three stages: a Group Discussion (GD), a personal interview and a written ability test. The association will release a separate merit list for each round, and candidates passing all the rounds will be eligible for admission. MAT test scores are valid for one year.
