The registration deadline for the All India Sainik School Entrance Examination or AISSEE 2026 has been extended to November 9, 2025. As per the official notice, the registration process which was scheduled to end on October 30, 2025, has now been extended. The last date for depositing fees is 10th November.
The application correction window which was scheduled to be open from November 2 to 4, will now be available from November 12 to 14. The exam will be conducted on January 18.
“National Testing Agency (NTA) is receiving various representations from the candidates for extending the last date for submission of online application forms for All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE)-2026. Therefore, in continuation of the public notice dated 10.10.2025 regarding submission of online application forms for admission to Class VI and Class IX in Sainik Schools/New Sainik Schools across the country for the academic year 2026-27, NTA said in the official notice. “It has been decided to extend the last date for submission of online application form for AISSEE.”

ST and SC category – Rs 700
Steps to apply for AISSEE 2026
step 1 – To apply for AISSEE 2026, candidates and their parents need to fill the registration form available on the official website Exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE.
step 2 – Enter the required details including your name, date of birth, home address, contact information and a valid email address.
step 3 – Select the class for which you want to take admission – either Class 6 or Class 9.
step 4 – Scan and upload the required documents (including photograph and signature) to complete the application form.
Step 5 – Pay the applicable fee using the online payment options given, confirm your application, then submit and download.
Sainik School Society has also announced the addition of three new schools for AISSEE 2026. These include Sri SPK Public Senior Secondary School, Tamil Nadu; Vadem Nagar Higher Secondary School, Goa; and Yogeshwari Sainik School, Ambajogai, Maharashtra.
