New Delhi. India is emerging as a major manufacturing hub for multinational companies. After iPhone manufacturer Apple, now Google is also preparing to make smartphones in India. Now the news has come that Google will manufacture its flagship phone ‘Google Pixel 8’ in India. Indian company Dixon Technologies will make Pixel 8 for Google. The production of this great smartphone is expected to start in India by September this year.

If Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro are made in India, it would likely bring down the price of these phones in the domestic market; currently, the price of Pixel 8 (8GB RAM, 128 GB Storage) in India starts at Rs. 75,999 while the price of Pixel 8 Pro starts at Rs. 106,999.
