Road tax on expensive vehicles in Karnataka is very high. But the owner of this car neither registered it in Bangalore nor filled the road tax here. After receiving the information, Bangalore South RTO started the investigation and after checking the documents, seized the car.
Notice was sent to the owner, which said that if the tax is not paid by Thursday evening, legal action will be taken. After this, the owner immediately paid a tax and fine of Rs 1.42 crore.
